a sunrise bloom

you are walking through a garden at sunrise. the fragrant smells around you delight your senses as you are drawn to a particular flower you see out of the corner of your eye. it is just starting to open and bloom in this moment and you are there to catch the splendor.
as a part of my essence series, I seek to express the sensory feelings of being in that moment in time and space, fully present and keenly aware.
this original painting is 12’’ x 12’’ with a depth of 1.5’’ and is unframed. all edges are painted. the thickness of the canvas lends itself well to being hung without framing albeit you are welcome to frame it if you wish.
