deep blue

deep blue is an original artwork inspired by imagining the feeling of being deep within the ocean at a depth never explored before.

as a part of my essence series, i seek to express the sensory feelings of being in that moment in time and space, fully present and keenly aware.

this original painting was selected for a show juried at the cheltenham art center in 2023, juror was michael kowbuz. it received an honorable mention award.

this original painting is 12’’ x 12’’ with a depth of 1.5’’ and is unframed. all edges are painted. the thickness of the canvas lends itself well to being hung without framing albeit you are welcome to frame it if you wish.
